Pancakes and crafts

Friday is pancake and craft day this week.  Two of Sara's favorite things!  I put "secret ingredients" in the pancakes to make them extra fun. Today was almond extract and raspberries.  Sara doesn't know what almond extract is, she just refers to it as "mom's secret ingredient".  I could eat it in just about anything!

Sara asks me every single day if she and Em can do a craft.  I often go to Dollar Tree and Target dollar section to stock up so I'm prepared for when she asks.  I think I have enough crafts right now to last a year!..actually, maybe just the weekend.  I'm not sure what Emmy's hobbies are yet, she just follows in her sisters footsteps and just wants to do what she does.  I usually limit Sara to just one craft per day...but today we are going craft crazy!  We started the morning off with painted jewelry boxes...

My "special ingredient" pancakes.

I love how focused Sara is in this pic.  She doesn't focus on anything as well as she focuses on creating things!  She is so creative.

Their name placemats from Grandma.

I should have gotten close-ups of their cute little fingers all covered in paint when they were done!

First photo post!

My girls are growing so fast! It is my desire to capture their every day activities, hobbies, habits, personalities, styles, and senses of humor in pictures.  Em is loud, Sara is quiet.  Em is passionate, Sara is gentle.  Em is a goofball, Sara is a princess.  Em is fearless, Sara is more reserved.  Em is a mess, Sara is very organized.

Today I thought their outfits were so darn cute! They are the epitome of what little girls are. Quirky, sparkly, funky, mismatched, girly, and adorable.

I LOVE Emily's cute little pony tail.

They truly are the best of friends!

Telling secrets.

This picture is SO Em. Silly and goofy!

And this one perfectly portrays my sweet Sara. Sweet and gentle and kind.
